Atlanta Strip Clubs: Two-fifths of ‘Kids in the Hall’ coming to the Punchline August 11-13

Thompson marveled over how they can now ironically be called Kids in the Hall now that they’re firmly in middle age. (See New Kids on the Block.) “I’m older than the U.S. president,” he mused. “I”m older than the Canadian prime minister. I’m more immature if that helps.”
The publicist prior to our conversation mentioned Thompson’s love for fruit, to the point he has a blog that just talks about fruit. Shockingly, he isn’t sure if he’s ever had a Georgia peach. “I’m very excited about that,” he said.
And though he doesn’t have many connections to Atlanta, he recalls meeting the Black Crowes in Atlanta on tour in the early 1990s. “They were the first American celebrities we met on our first tour,” he siad. “They came to our show. We ended up getting drunk with them and going to a very strange strip club.” [I guessed it was probably the Clermont Lounge.]
