DECATUR, Ga. — DeKalb County police have identified one of the suspects in the shooting death of a suburban Atlanta strip club owner.
Police spokeswoman Mekka Parish said a warrant has been issued for 28-year-old Joey Celestin on murder and armed robbery charges in the Tuesday death of 49-year-old Terry Stephenson.
Authorities say Stephenson was shot repeatedly outside the entrance of Pin Up’s strip club in Decatur. A friend of the victim said Stephenson was on his way to the bank to deposit the club’s holiday weekend receipts.
Parish said Stephenson was shot four times and died on the way to the hospital.
