Strip Club Ordered to Pay $1.75M in Fatal Crash
A strip club, Club Blaze, was ordered on Wednesday to pay the family
of a woman who was killed in a car wreck in Douglas County in 2008
$1.75 million. Fatima Bird, a mother of two, was killed on I-20
after the strip club over-served Otis South of Mableton.
South had a blood alcohol level of .398, almost five times the legal
limit.
Another woman was also killed and one more injured in the wreck.
South was driving on the wrong side of the road when he slammed
head first into the victim.
South also died from the incident.
