I felt like a caveman today.  I had no internet for several hours, and was up at the crack of dawn.  I took a nap and dreamt about hockey.  When I woke up, the internet was back.  I was going to write this with sheep’s blood, a pointy rock, and my bedroom wall.  Life without technology is scary.

Thank you, Thrashers.  The Devils haven’t had a scorer this dynamic since… ever.  How’s Niclas Bergfors treating you, Atlanta?  Don’t want to talk about it?  That’s fine. Let’s talk about New Jersey’s side of the trade instead.  Anssi Salmela scored the game-winner against the Islanders Saturday, and Ilya Kovalchuk has 29 points in his last 27 games.  The Devils even rode the Thrashers’ former goalie through the second half of the season.
The Devils recently signed Atlanta’s GM to be a Devils Dancer, after shame drove him to a career in Newark strip clubs.  They owed him a favor and couldn’t bear seeing him like that.
