DECATUR, Ga. — Jail records show a man charged in the fatal shooting of the co-owner of a DeKalb County strip club is in custody.
Police say 49-year-old Terry Stephenson was shot to death on Tuesday outside his club, Pin Up’s, just east of Decatur. DeKalb police spokeswoman Mekka Parish says Stephenson was on his way to deposit the club’s weekend revenues when he was shot four times.
Parish says 28-year-old Joey Celestin faces charges of murder and armed robbery.Officials say a hearing has not been set for Celestin, who was arrested Wednesday night. A jail official did not know if he had an attorney, and no telephone is listed in his name.
