Atlanta Strip Clubs: Fantasy World probe casts wide net

Police have not said whether they will charge owner Emanuel Isaacs, who bought the adult entertainment business at 1000 Baxter St. in 2004, six years after he was released from federal prison. He served a stint for bombing a competitor’s strip club in Atlanta in 1982, according to court records.
“I anticipate additional charges on additional suspects,” Athens-Clarke police Lt. Mike Hunsinger said Thursday. “We’re looking into the management and ownership as part of the investigation.”
Isaacs could not be reached for comment, and his attorney was in court on a trial, said an assistant at his Atlanta office.

Isaacs hired men to burn down the Starcastle Club in 1981, but the fire didn’t destroy the business, and it re-opened the next year, according to records; the competing strip club was destroyed by a bomb in 1982.
