… ATLANTA (CN) – A black officer sued the Sandy Springs Police Department on civil rights charges, claiming he was suspended without pay for “engaging in [sexual] intercourse with suspects as per the instructions by his supervisor,” while conducting an “undercover sting that involved an illegal massage parlor,” but that white officers who did the same thing were not suspended.

Here is the immortal paragraph 15: “The retaliation is further propounded as a result of the plaintiff’s alleged misconduct regarding an undercover sting that involved an illegal massage parlor. Plaintiff, while undercover admitted in engaging in intercourse with the suspects as per the instructions by his supervisor, and in accordance with the common practices perpetrated by his fellow officers. This behavior was not only reported by the plaintiff, but had gone unnoticed, and unreported by other fellow officers as well in prior stings. The plaintiff after having reported his behavior was suspended for two days without pay. The plaintiff was singled out, evidence by the fact that he was the only officer that received any actionable reprimand, while others had the same culpability, but were white officers.”
