Duluth Police are on the lookout for two suspects involved in the armed robbery of a massage parlor on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard Tuesday night.
Officers responded to an armed robbery in progress call at the Tong Tong Massage Parlor about 8:55 p.m., Maj. Don Woodruff reported. “One of the suspects was sitting in a getaway car. The other suspect [armed with a handgun] was coming down the steps [of the massage parlor] and engaged the first police officer who arrived in gunfire,” Woodruff said. A second officer who arrived on the scene about the same time also was involved in the gunfire exchange, he said. The suspects escaped.
“Both police cars were hit, the officers were not,” Woodruff said. There appeared to be about three or four bullet homes in each police vehicle, he said.
