Atlanta Massage Parlors: Council talks 911, park rules

Massage parlor regulations, parks and recreation ordinance changes and 911 services were the major topics of discussion at the Dunwoody City Council meeting on Tuesday, January 18.

“On behalf of the mayor and the city council and most importantly the citizens of this city, I hereby designate the 19th of January, 2011 as Dan Weber Day in the city of Dunwoody,” said Shortal.Weber accepted the designation and a key to the city, but felt uncomfortable with the attention.So many of the people in this room played critical roles in the quest to become a city and this wouldn’t have happened without working as a team, said Weber.“If I had to think of one group of people to receive an honor from, it would be you,” said Weber. “It means a lot.”In other news, Dunwoody City Manager Warren Hutmacher presented an update on 911 services that also sparked some debate.Council was mixed on its support of either Chattcom or DeKalb County to provide services.“I think we should stay with De …
