ATLANTA — Federal agents have arrested a fugitive they believe was involved in the 2007 killing of an Atlanta businessman.
Inspector Alex Camacho of the U.S. Marshals says Kisha Marie Rutledge was arrested at a home on Houston’s west side on Wednesday.
Rutledge was wanted for the June 2007 murder of Atlanta businessman Keith Brown, and she had been recently profiled on “America’s Most Wanted.”
Authorities say Brown was a client of an escort service run by Rutledge. They say she grew infuriated that he was apparently trying to cut her out of the payments and she enlisted the help of three other men to kill him.
Camacho says Rutledge was arrested without incident and is waiting extradition back to Georgia to face the murder charge.
