University Employee Accused Of Soliciting Sex From Boy

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A University of Tennessee technology employee has been charged with attempting to solicit a child for sex in Georgia.
A statement from the FBI in Atlanta says 41-year-old Todd McAdoo of Knoxville was arrested in Catoosa County, Ga., on state charges Sunday. He is being held without bond at the county detention center in Ringgold, Ga. A jail officer said Monday that records do not show McAdoo has hired an attorney.
The FBI statement says McAdoo traveled to Georgia after having engaged undercover agents in Internet chats.
University of Tennessee spokeswoman Karen Collins declined comment about whether university computers were used. She said the university is cooperating with investigators.
