… Tuesday, September 21st, 2010) Plain clothes investigators from the Gwinnett County Police Vice Unit conducted an undercover operation on area streets, making several arrests, including two males posing as female prostitutes.  This investigation was the result of crime analysis and intelligence gathering and concerned unincorporated areas of Gwinnett County associated with Norcross, Lilburn and Duluth.

Near Duluth, Vice Investigators encountered 29 year-old Shaquita Davis of Ellenwood.  When approached, she agreed to meet the undercover officer at a local motel.  There, she too solicited him for an act of prostitution.  Davis was also arrested without incident and charged with prostitution.  
In addition to their ongoing efforts and investigations, Vice Investigators have taken to the streets to combat prostitution and vice related crimes affecting Gwinnett.  They combine their efforts with hours of research and the hard work of Gwinnett County Police Intelligence Analysts, taking a proactive approach as well as responding to tips and complainants from Gwinnett County residents.
