Solomon Manasseh Mustafa, arrested by Holly Springs police in June 2010 on charges related to sex trafficking, will face federal charges.
Mustafa faces federal charges of sex trafficking, kidnapping, transporting women across state lines for prostitution, document servitude, receiving material involving the sexual exploitation of a minor, and of coercion and enticement of a minor for sexual activity, according to a press release by the U.S. Attorney’s office.
Those charges carry a maximum sentence of life in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
In 2010, Mustafa was arrested for attempting to kidnap a 13-year-old girl who lived with her family in Holly Springs, said Lt. Tanya Smith with the HSPD.
Mustafa and an accomplice were indicted for allegedly enlisting young, female victims on Craigslist and Backpage with the goal of forcing them into prostitution in the Atlanta area.
