Prostitution sting nets
7 arrests
AUSTELL — Two people were charged with pimping and five women charged with prostitution after a Cobb County Police raid in Austell on Aug. 31.
David Shane Lancaster of Atlanta is accused of misdemeanor pimping, and Chantae Lewis of Lithia Springs is accused of felony pimping. Stephanie Brookins of Detroit, Benita Smith of Atlanta, Angel Wade of Atlanta, Amy Wilksinson of Powder Springs and Amy Wilson of Athens are charged with misdemeanor prostitution.
The arrests were made between 10:11 p.m. Aug. 31 and 2:13 a.m. Sept. 1, according to the warrants.
According to warrants for their arrests, Lancaster drove Wade to the Super 8 Motel at 7377 Six Flags Drive, near the intersection with Interstate 20, where Wade offered to perform a sexual act on an undercover officer for money.
