COWETA COUNTY, Ga. – Coweta County authorities have charged three teens with robbing women from an Atlanta escort service. They say two teen girls and a 19-year-old man have been charged in connection to the robberies.
Investigators say it was the idea of Stephanie Joy McAlkich, 17, to lure Atlanta escort service women to a rural Coweta County road and rob them at gunpoint. They say she got the idea after buying a pornographic magazine at a Coweta County adult bookstore and seeing the escort service advertisements in the back.
“They started calling some of the escort services and were able to get an individual to come down to Coweta County,” said Major James Yarborough of the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office.
