Police: Pimp Severely Beat, Caged Prostitute

ATLANTA — A 21-year-old prostitute was severely beaten and put into a cage as punishment for trying to run away from her pimp Friday, according to Fulton County police.
David Lee Walker, 27, was arrested and faces assault, battery, kidnapping and pimping charges.
Walker took the victim from the Varsity restaurant on North Avenue Thursday and brought her to a motel near Fulton Industrial Boulevard, where she was beaten and imprisoned by the pimp and four other women, police said. The victim was released from the cage on Friday.
“I’m told she was beat for approximately 30 – 40 minutes before she was placed into a 3 x 5 cage,” said Fulton County Detective Melissa Parker.
