HOUSTON (MyFOX ATLANTA) – Federal and local officials credited the show “America’s Most Wanted’ with helping them catch a fugitive who was on the run for two years. Kisha Marie Rutledge was arrested Wednesday. Rutledge was wanted for the murder of a Milton business man.
U.S. Marshals arrested Rutledge at a Houston residence. Rutledge was wanted for the June 12, 2007 murder of Atlanta businessman Keith Brown.
Police said Rutledge, along with three others went to Brown’s home and killed him.
The case was recently profiled on the nationally-broadcast television program, “America’s Most Wanted.”
Investigators said Brown may have been a client at an escort service allegedly run by Rutledge. Investigators said Brown allegedly paid the escorts directly, cutting Rutledge out of her profits.
