Fulton County Cracks Down On Prostitution
Police And Marshals Sweeping Streets

Fulton County, Ga. — CBS Atlanta went along with Fulton County Police and Marshals as they conducted an undercover operation to cleanup the streets.
They were focusing on prostitutes, johns and drug dealers.
Law enforcement said their goal is to send a message to those soliciting prostitutes because if there is no money, the prostitutes will stop walking the streets.

The night CBS Atlanta went along, police were working to clear an area of prostitutes when the situation became dangerous. A man with several alleged prostitutes started yelling and jumping on the car of an undercover officer. Police said the situation became too dangerous for the officer and those nearby and moved in.
Prostitution and pandering are both misdemeanors.
