The city of Forest Park is trying to shut down two adult clubs after an officer said he found illegal activity on a video at one of the establishments.
City officials said they’ve seen consistent violations of state law and city ordinances at the Pink Pony South and the Crazy Horse Saloon, both owned by the same company.
“We’re gonna show a pattern of illegal activity. Some of it is on video,” Forest Park city attorney Joe Harris said.
He said officers obtained surveillance video that shows women giving men lap dances, undressing and showing their private parts.
Harris said the establishments were denied an adult entertainment license for 2011 and received a business license for this year. He said they promised to operate like much like the restaurant Hooters.
Instead, Harris said, investigators have found blatant violations of the law.
“That would include prostitution, gambling, sodomy, solicitation of prostitution,” Harris said.
