The idea is that, in the future, what they call “go-go dancers” because they are people from the late 1960’s, and other employees of clubs will be allowed to use the poles but no tourists because those fuckers are just out of control and they get naked. Can you imagine the scandal if word got out people were getting naked in Vegas? Ins trip clubs? Sweet Jesus, it’d ruin the whole town.

There isn’t a real reason given why this is seen as a problem for officials in Vegas, though the business license director did say “We don’t want to walk into any of these locations and see patrons on the dance poles.” She wants to see go-go dancers on those poles, not you or me. And I can appreciate no one wanting to see me on a pole, but if there’s a hot chick in a strip club who wants to work the pole but doesn’t actually work there, it’s not likely you’re going to find many people in the crowd who are going to be upset by that.
