Clayton police arrest 2 for prostitution business

ELLENWOOD, Ga. (AP) – Clayton County police say they’ve charged two people with keeping a place of prostitution following a SWAT team raid on an Ellenwood home.
WSB-TV reports that, that police were responding to neighbors’ complaints about the amount of traffic in and out of the house.
Officials say 26-year-old Ebony Smoot and 21-year-old Cornique Jefferson were running a prostitution operation out of the house and used a website to lure new customers.
The two were charged with keeping a place of prostitution and possession of marijuana.
Three others were arrested in the home and charged with marijuana possession: 23-year-old Jaquill Murray, 19-year-old Denetrice Foster and 19-year-old Ashleigh McDuffie.
A police spokeswoman told WSB-TV officers found several video cameras inside the home.
