Atlanta Adult Entertainment: Waka Flocka Flame Cleared Of Drug Charges
Posted on May 4th, 2011 in Atlanta adult entertainment
A grand jury in Henry County, Georgia, cleared Waka Flocka Flame of drug charges related to a raid of his home in late 2010. Authorities lacked sufficient evidence to justify taking the Atlanta rapper to trial, according to TMZ.
On December 16, Waka’s home was raided by Atlanta authorities amid rumors that it was being used to house a prostitution ring, which reps for the “No Hands” rapper vehemently denied. Waka wasn’t home at the time it was searched. However, his manager/mother, Deb Antney, and Gucci Mane, were there and subsequently detained by police for a short time. A warrant for Waka’s arrest was issued but he didn’t turn himself in until January 3, when he was booked on charges that included possession of marijuana and Hydrocodone, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and violation of probation for driving on a suspended license.
