Former Emory, Grady Doctor Faces Child Porn Charges

Defense attorneys for a former metro Atlanta doctor facing child porn charges began their case Monday.
Dr. Adam Lebowitz was arrested in November of 2006 and charged with soliciting sex from an underage boy.
Monday Adam Lebowitz’s lawyers will defend him against child pornography charges. The former Emory and Grady doctor is in federal court, reportedly for having video taped sexual encounters with underage teen boys.
Lebowitz’s legal trouble began in 2006 when he arranged to visit Kenny Spurling’s Coweta County home. But Lebowitz didn’t know the 15-year-old told his parents about the doctor’s sexual advances, and was now working with police in a sting operation.
