A federal court ruled Forest Park’s ordinance regarding adult entertainment businesses and their serving of alcohol on premises, was constitutional with one small exception — the city’s regulatory fee on these establishments.
However, Aubrey Villines of the Atlanta law firm of Magarahan, Villines and Honis, which is representing Jack Galardi, owner of the Pink Pony Gentlemen’s Club and Crazy Horse Saloon, said late Friday he has filed an appeal of the court’s decision.
According to Forest Park City Manager John Parker, the city’s adult entertainment ordinance, on which the District Court of Northern Georgia recently ruled in favor of the city, prohibits the two adult entertainment establishments from serving alcohol on premises.

In regard to the city’s adult entertainment regulatory fee, Forest Park has, itself, petitioned the court to reconsider that portion of the order.
