Carjacking suspect arrested in Fla. prostitution sting
MARIETTA — A suspect in a June 10 Marietta carjacking was arrested in Florida during a prostitution sting, Marietta Police said.
Sly Deon Sampson, 34, is awaiting transfer to Marietta after his arrest in Hillsborough County, Fla., on a fugitive from justice warrant, according to police.

After Marietta police found more online posts for Woodward in the Tampa area, investigators coordinated a prostitution sting with Hillsborough police, resulting in the arrests of both Woodward and Sampson, according to police.

According to county jail records, Sampson was released on bond in March after being arrested in January for keeping a place of prostitution at a Corporate Plaza hotel room off Windy Hill Road.
The warrant stated he coerced a juvenile into acts of prostitution.
